Since 1141, the Ricasoli family has been at the heart of Chianti\u2019s history.
\nIn 1872, Baron Bettino Ricasoli \u2013 known as the \u201cIron Baron\u201d \u2013 codified the original recipe for Chianti wine, which is still a benchmark for the entire denomination today.
