Since 1141, the Ricasoli family has been at the heart of Chianti’s history. In 1872, Baron Bettino Ricasoli – known as the “Iron Baron” – codified the original recipe for Chianti wine, which is still a benchmark for the entire denomination today.
This experience is more than a tasting: it is a journey into the heart of Tuscan winemaking, where every glass tells centuries of passion, innovation and terroir.
One Castle, One Wine, One Story.
Built in the 13th century along the historic Via Francigena, the Castle was completed in 1441 and preserves centuries of history, art and tradition.
Today, the estate is run by the descendants of the original family and produces organic Brunello di Montalcino on 13 hectares dedicated to Sangiovese Grosso.
